Northfield work session reviews agenda items, hears no public comments and adjourns

"This meeting was properly advertised in the Press of Atlantic City on January 10, 2026, and in accordance with Public Law 1975, Chapter 231," Municipal Clerk Mary Canesi said as she called the work session to order at 6:03 p.m. Council President Pro-Tempore Dewees led the flag salute.
The council heard brief committee reports on budget scheduling and storm response, reviewed ongoing business items including proposed fee changes and an update on a local bamboo ordinance, and scheduled a budget meeting for Feb. 26 from 4–6 p.m. Council President Bucci opened a five-minute public comment period; seeing no one, she closed the session and, on motions properly made and seconded, all members present voted to adjourn at 6:16 p.m.
