Bland ISD accepts donation, votes appraisal-district ballots

During the Nov. 10 meeting Superintendent Brian Bymaster noted a $500 donation from RD Underground Construction INC to the Bland High School boys basketball team. The board adopted a resolution enabling receipt and use of donations for student clothing and meals later in the agenda; the donations resolution passed unanimously after a motion by Cody Welborn and second by Kendal Wright.
On appraisal-district affairs the board approved Bland ISD’s ballots for the Hunt County Appraisal District Board of Directors (2026–2029 term), allocating 36 total votes as 18 votes for Jim Bob Grove and 18 votes for Paul Painter; Trevor Hurst moved and Trent Poe seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
