Bland ISD board unanimously adjourns special meeting after training

President Terry Hurst called the Bland ISD Board of Trustees to order at approximately 6:00 p.m. on Oct. 23, 2025, at the Bland ISD Administration Building in Merit. The minutes list Terry Hurst, Corey White, Jeff Striplin, Trevor Hurst, Trent Poe, Kendal Wright and Cody Welborn as present, and record that meeting notice was posted under the Texas Open Meetings Act (Texas Government Code Chapter 551).
According to the minutes, "A motion was made by Cody Welborn to adjourn." Trent Poe seconded the motion, and the Board unanimously approved it; the minutes record the time of adjournment as 7:38 p.m. The minutes state there was no public participation during the public comment portion of the agenda.
