The Bland Independent School District Board of Trustees unanimously approved routine business at its Nov. 10 meeting, including the minutes of the Sept. 11 regular session and Oct. 23 special session and the district’s October and November 2025 financial reports. Cody Welborn moved to approve the minutes, seconded by Trent Poe; Kendal Wright moved to approve the financial reports, seconded by Corey White; both motions carried unanimously.
The board adopted campus improvement plan objectives for Bland Elementary, Bland Middle and Bland High School for the 2025–2026 school year and approved Attendance Committees for each campus. The meeting’s consent agenda also included TASB Update 126 (LEGAL) and multiple (LOCAL) policy revisions covering board meetings and public participation, contracted services and background checks, technology resources including cybersecurity and AI, facility safety standards, student welfare and discipline. The consent package was approved on a motion by Trent Poe and second by Trevor Hurst.
