The Blanco Independent School District Board of Trustees voted Feb. 23 to approve the Certificate of Unopposed Candidates for Places 1 and 2 in the May 2, 2026 school board election and announced the unopposed candidates as elected trustees.
The motion to approve the certificate was made by Kathy Kersten and seconded by Joe Hernandez; the minutes record that "All were in favor." The board listed Place 1 as Aaron Lux and Place 2 as Robert Allison. The action finalizes the unopposed-seat process noted on the agenda and removes those races from the contested ballot process for May.
