Commission forwards July amendments to floodplain zoning ordinance to council to add three LOMARs
Summary

Planning staff told the commission that two to three years earlier the floodplain zoning ordinance had been rewritten to comply with FEMA and Wisconsin DNR regulations, and that DNR recently requested insertion of three LOMAR map revisions that had been omitted. Staff asked the commission to recommend approval and forward the amendment to the Common Council.
A commissioner moved to approve and forward the proposed changes; the motion was seconded and carried by voice vote. Staff indicated the change was primarily an administrative update to align the municipal code with DNR/FEMA mapping.
