Advisory board elects new officers and accepts lived-experience member's resignation

The Fayette County Behavioral Health Administration Advisory Board voted Feb. 19 to install new leadership and to accept a resignation from a member who represented lived experience. Mr. Joseph nominated Dr. Paul Hartley for chairman after an initial nomination of Mr. Harry Joseph was declined; Dr. Martin seconded the nomination and the motion carried.
Dr. Denise Martin nominated Danielle Rowan for vice chair and Mr. Joseph seconded; Mr. Joseph nominated Hilary Redman for secretary with Dr. Martin seconding. All leadership motions carried. The board also voted to accept the resignation of Carol Warman, whose seat is designated for someone with lived experience; Dr. Brian Taylor moved to accept the resignation and Ms. Redman seconded.
"Mr. Andrew Boni called the meeting to order at 5:31 PM," the minutes record. The board agreed to forward an applicant for the lived-experience vacancy to county review and approval. No roll-call vote tallies were recorded in the minutes for these leadership motions; the record states each motion "carried."
