Police to replace leased cars; OEM facility study and solid-waste negotiation team set

Chief Pollak provided quotes for three small SUVs that could meet patrol needs and noted capital rules limit town purchases to SUVs. CFO Stollenwerk said the department currently leases three vehicles and suggested some patrol vehicles could be funded from operating budgets rather than capital.
Stollenwerk also proposed a facilities study requested by OEM at an estimated cost of $15,000 to assess needed changes at municipal facilities. BA/Clerk Canesi asked which council members would meet with ACUA on the expiring solid-waste contract; Councilmen Dewees, Notaro and Polistina volunteered to meet. The budget introduction was scheduled for March 24, 2026.
