Salary Board raises CYS on-call rate to $200/week, holiday on-call pay to $24/day

During the Salary Board meeting that immediately followed the commissioners' session Aug. 14, the board approved a personnel pay change for Children & Youth Services. On a motion by Commissioner Robert Snyder Jr., seconded by Commissioner Patrick Kline, the Salary Board approved a request from Tina Flick, CYS Administrator, to increase the On-Call rate to $200.00 per week and set holiday pay for On-Call at $24.00 per day. The board also approved including the On-Call pay rate in future annual cost-of-living increases as determined by the Board of Commissioners.
Treasurer Stacey Barnes seconded the Salary Board adjournment after the vote. The minutes do not record additional qualifying language, an effective date beyond the meeting, or budget adjustments to cover the change.
