Forest County commissioners approve routine bills, trainings and property sale in Sept. 18 meeting

The Forest County Board of Commissioners convened Sept. 18, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.; Commissioner Mark S. Kingston called the meeting to order and led the Pledge of Allegiance and a moment of silence. Present were Commissioners Mark S. Kingston, Patrick F. Kline and Robert J. Snyder, Jr., Treasurer Stacey Barnes and Chief Probation Officer Mark Rhoads.
During a brief session that lasted about 10 minutes, the board approved the minutes of its Sept. 11 meeting and carried a series of unanimous motions to authorize routine expenditures, staff training, an inter-account transfer, a small utility assistance payment, a vendor disbursement from the Visitor Center account, and the sale of a repository property at 538 Bean Farm Road for $204.00. The board also adopted Resolution No. 7 of 2024, naming Forest County as the pass-through applicant for a Statewide Local Share Account grant with Tionesta Volunteer Fire Department as sub-grantee. The meeting adjourned at 10:10 a.m.
