County reports DDAP 5-year grant agreement submitted to state; awaiting signatures

Butler County Drug & Alcohol Advisory Board members were told the county has signed and submitted its Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP) five-year grant agreement to the state. The Director reported that "the agreement was reviewed, approved, and signed by the commissioners at their public meeting held on 1/14/26," and that the signed document was submitted to DDAP on Jan. 15, 2026.
The Director said county staff are waiting for DDAP and other state representatives to countersign the agreement and for accompanying manuals to be finalized. Those manuals include revisions that will affect contract language and the Case Management & Clinical Services Manual; staff said they will circulate updated contract boilerplates to providers once the manuals are available. No formal motion or vote on the grant agreement occurred at the Jan. 20 meeting; the report was presented as part of the Director's Report.
