Chapel Hill ISD accepts two 2023 bond projects as complete

Trustees accepted completed work for Jackson Elementary and Wise Elementary, projects funded by the 2023 bond program. Matt Strode reported that "final inspections have been finished, all contract requirements have been met, and with approvals in place, the contractor is ready to receive final payment." The board voted to accept the work for both projects in separate action items.
The assistant superintendent said approvals and inspections are complete and that final payments will proceed under the bond contract terms. Acceptance signals project closeout steps and moves the district toward final contract payment to the contractors.
