The Jasper County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved two amendments to the meeting agenda on May 29. Commissioner Steven Ledford moved to "amend the agenda by removing the executive session on real estate," a motion seconded by Commissioner Asher Gray and carried without objection.
Ledford then moved to add an executive session to discuss personnel at the request of County Manager Mike Benton; Gray seconded and the board again voted unanimously to approve the amendment. The changes were recorded before the board proceeded into regular business. The minutes show the board later entered an executive session (personnel) at 12:04 p.m. and exited at 1:09 p.m., motions that passed by unanimous vote.
