Commissioners approve Medicaid-funded non-emergency transportation contract and a bridge contract change order

The Hancock County commissioners approved a contract and a contract change order during their Jan. 8 session.
Cindy Land presented Resolution #16-26, asking the board to authorize a contract with T & H Lift, LLC to provide non-emergency transportation services for the Department of Job and Family Services; she said the contract is paid with Medicaid funds and the total is around $141,561.24. The motion was approved 3-0.
Cindy also presented Change Order No. 1 to a bridge replacement contract with Great Lakes Demolition Company LLC (Resolution #17-26), describing a decrease of $1,131.08 that yields a new contract total of $638,018.72. Commissioners approved the change order, also by a 3-0 vote.
Both items were recorded on the consent/resolution portion of the agenda and were presented without substantive debate in the minutes.
