The Hancock County commissioners met Jan. 8 and approved a package of resolutions adjusting appropriations and transferring fees across county funds.
Among the actions, the board approved Resolution #8-26, decreasing the Brownfield Coalition Grant Fund (#2195) appropriation by $637,677.55, Resolution #9-26 decreasing the Treasurer's Delinquent Tax Assessment Fund (#2199) by $586.41, and Resolution #10-26 transferring Hancock County Solid Waste Management District tier disposal fees into the Tiered Disposal Fee Fund (#5109). Each resolution was moved by Commissioner William Bateson, seconded by Commissioner Timothy Bechtol and passed by a 3-0 vote.
The motions were presented together as part of routine business by the Assistant Clerk and recorded as passed without dissent. The meeting minutes record standard agenda items approved earlier in the session, including payroll and warrant journals.
