Staff told the committee the ranking session will be conducted using a confidential ranking system; members must at least rank their top four names and may rank up to 16. Chelsea said she will send a tutorial video and is available to help members in person; she also said the district will provide interpreters and hybrid meeting space for members who want to rank together in person.
"I'm gonna be sending you all a finalized packet... I'm then going to be assembling that and submitting all that to the board by August 17," Chelsea said. She also confirmed the district's legal team is allowing absentee voting so members who cannot attend the ranking in person can still have their votes counted.
