He also highlighted a recent visit by Arizona governor Katie Hobbs to CTA Liberty, described the importance of healthy meals and reminded families that the free‑and‑reduced lunch re‑registration deadline is Aug. 26. Doctor Battle introduced a three‑year plan that begins with an assessment year and a 100th‑day listening tour launching Aug. 10 to gather community input. "We are encouraging our students and families, community partners to come," he said, inviting governing‑board members to join the tour.
The superintendent said year one will focus on assessment and alignment, year two on optimization and transformation, and year three on sustaining and growth. He indicated more details will be shared with the board and public as the plan is operationalized.
