The report compiles municipal-level projects, volunteer activity and grant awards; the presenter said the county had secured more than $1,000,000 in grant awards for projects including electric-vehicle chargers and solar installations and later described nearly $3,500,000 in additional non‑match grant funds used across jurisdictions.
The committee discussed how towns provided project information and whether locally run energy projects were fully represented in the report. "We the county's earned over a $1,000,000 in grant money that we put towards a number of things, buying some EVs, solar EV chargers, money to our solar panels," said S1. A motion to adopt the progress report carried. Committee members asked staff to solicit missing town-level project submissions so the next edition can include those local initiatives and any updates for 2026.
