The Cherokee ISD Board approved routine consent items — prior minutes and current accounts and balances — on a unanimous vote during its Nov. 6 meeting. The motion to accept the action items was made by Rodney Johnson and seconded by Anne Brownlee; the motion passed unanimously.
Superintendent Jennifer Bordner said the district needs to address two old buses and will research legalities of selling them or accepting donations. The board set its next regular meeting for Dec. 11, 2025 (the minutes note a junior-high game on Dec. 8). The meeting adjourned at 5:56 p.m. on a motion by Rodney Johnson, seconded by Kayla Forehand; the motion carried unanimously.
