The Burleson Independent School District Board of Trustees voted unanimously Feb. 9 to approve a resolution authorizing the superintendent and/or the board president to convey a small tract of surplus district property to an abutting property owner.
Ms. Pat Worrell moved the resolution, and Mrs. Dallas Owen seconded. The motion passed with yeas from Michael Ancy, Staci Eisner, Jerri McNair, Dallas Owen, Ryan Richardson and Pat Worrell. The tract discussed in closed session was identified in the agenda as a 1.544-acre parcel described by survey and bearings; the board considered the matter in closed session under Texas Government Code provisions for real-property deliberation before taking public action.
