During the Feb. 25 meeting, Business Manager Amenda Asevedo told the board the district audit had been uploaded to TEAL and provided an update on cashless transactions. Operations and maintenance reports from Mrs. Adams noted that trash had been cleared from both campuses and that the district intends to maintain cleanliness.
Mrs. Adams also announced a partnership with Southern Tire Mart to provide ongoing tire inspections and services for district vehicles. She reported that the health inspector conducted the second inspection of the year at both campuses and found no deficiencies. Separately, the cafeteria report noted that the summer school food program for 2026 had been approved.
Board members did not take action on procurement beyond noting the furniture quotes related to construction; the finance and operations reports were accepted as informational.
