Ben Bolt-Palito Blanco ISD board approves 2026-27 Calendar A

The Ben Bolt-Palito Blanco Independent School District Board of Trustees voted 7-0 on Feb. 25 to approve Calendar A for the 2026-27 academic year. Marcos Garcia moved to adopt the calendar, and Monica Buentello seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
Curriculum Director Debbie Guerra told the board staff had reviewed two calendar options and selected Calendar A. "Calendar A was selected as the winner," Guerra said during the presentation. The board aligned its approval with Superintendent Victoria S. Joslin's recommendation.
Board members did not debate substantial changes to instructional time during the vote. The district will publish the adopted calendar and related scheduling details to families and staff, and administrators said they will proceed with implementation for the coming school year.
