The Edna Independent School District Board of Trustees approved a set of routine and operational motions on March 23, passing multiple resolutions unanimously. By Resolution 526715 the board approved prior meeting minutes (Feb. 16, Feb. 17 and March 11, 2026), bills paid, a budget amendment and donations. The motion was made by Trustee Dustin Kocian and seconded by Trustee Kris Crenshaw; the vote was recorded For: 6, Against: 0.
The board also approved Resolution 526716 to accept February 2026 work, adopted a joint resolution with the City of Edna concerning the board election (Res. 526718), and approved the Notice of Election setting Edna ISD's election date for May 5, 2026 (Res. 526719). The board renewed the food service management contract with Southwest Foodservice Excellence for 2026–2027 (Res. 526720) and approved Calendar B for the 2026–27 school year (Res. 526721). All recorded motions carried For: 6, Against: 0. The meeting adjourned after an executive session and a final adjournment motion (Res. 526722).
