Eustace ISD board approves wellness plan, policy update and district purchases; tables appraisal-district votes

The Eustace Independent School District Board of Trustees met Nov. 10, 2025, and approved a series of district actions including TASB Policy Update 126 (Policy BE(LOCAL)), the district wellness plan, campus and district improvement plans, library book purchases and holiday gift-card purchases for employees. The meeting began with a closed session at 6:00 p.m. and reconvened in open session at 7:00 p.m. with President Scot Bonner presiding.
Trustees voted unanimously on each motion. "Katie McCallister moved to approve the Consent Agenda as presented," and subsequent motions were recorded in the minutes as carried. Specific roll-call votes were recorded for each motion with all seven trustees — Scot Bonner, Katie McCallister, Shane Carter, Joe Gomez, Jeff Lawson, Ben Lane and Blake Ward — voting in favor. The board also moved to table the district's votes for the Henderson County Appraisal District Board of Directors until the next meeting.
