The Board of Trustees of CARROLLTON-FARMERS BRANCH ISD held a pre-meeting briefing Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Board Room of the District Administration Building, 1445 North Perry Road in Carrollton. President Cassandra Hatfield called the briefing to order and announced trustees present: Vice President Kim Brady, Secretary Ileana Garza Rojas, Marjorie Barnes, Carolyn Benavides, Paul Gilmore and Randy Schackmann.
Executive staff present for the briefing included Superintendent Dr. Wendy Eldredge, Deputy Superintendent Brian Moersch, Chief Financial Officer Carla Settle and Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning Kim Holcomb; Kim Castanon was recorded as taking the minutes. District leaders reviewed administrative reports and the posted agenda in advance of the board’s regular meeting scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
