Childress ISD auditor reports 'no issues' in annual financial audit

Paul Fleming of Edgin, Parkman, Fleming and Fleming PC presented the annual financial audit for the year ending Aug. 31, 2025, saying there were "no issues" and that all corrections from the prior year had been made. The board accepted the audit presentation during its Jan. 12 meeting.
The board later approved the Annual Financial Report (Motion #6245) on a 6-0 vote. A prior consent motion (Motion #6243) also passed to approve related amendments, transfers and donations. The audit presentation included no exceptions; Fleming summarized corrective actions taken in the prior year and indicated the audit was clean as presented.
