Castleberry ISD posts district a–f score of 81; several campuses show gains

Scott Hutchins, lead secondary coordinator for math and accountability, presented the district's 2025 A–F accountability ratings and campus distinctions. Hutchins said Castleberry's weighted district score rose to an 81 for the 2025 school year and that several campuses earned distinctions for growth, postsecondary readiness, and closing gaps. "So when you put it all together, we have that weighted average by campus...we ended up with an 81 for the 2025 school year," Hutchins said.
Hutchins highlighted Reach High School's overall score of 96 and noted Castleberry High School's gains anchored in college, career and military readiness; he also reviewed campus-level domain changes and the state's comparison-group methodology. He showed analyses comparing Castleberry to nearby districts and Region 11 and said the district performed above expected trend lines given its economically disadvantaged population. Board members congratulated staff and asked for follow-up on how performance objectives tie to campus goals.
