Paris ISD awards T.G. Givens Early Childhood Center reroofing contract to N.E. Texas Roof Systems

The Paris ISD Board of Trustees on Feb. 16, 2026 unanimously approved a package of actions to move forward with reroofing the T. G. Givens Early Childhood Center, selecting N.E. Texas Roof Systems as contractor. Trustees adopted Competitive Sealed Proposal as the project delivery method and delegated project authority to the superintendent.
The board also adopted the Davis‑Bacon Act prevailing wage schedule for Lamar County as the wage standard for the project and selected the 2021 International Building Code as the applicable building code. The motions to adopt the delivery method, prevailing wage schedule, building code, delegate authority and to award the contract all passed 7–0. The minutes record the motion to award the contract as carried unanimously following the vote.
