O'Donnell ISD trustees approve consent items, set November meeting date

The O'Donnell ISD Board of Trustees opened its regular meeting on Oct. 21, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. and approved routine consent items including minutes of the previous meeting, payment of bills, and set the district's next regular meeting for Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, at 7:00 p.m.
"A motion was made by Mires and a second by Hancock to approve consent items as presented," the minutes state. The motion passed 5-0, with Trustees Mandy Stidham, Landon Mires, Melissa Pedroza, Jerry Castro and Blandon Hancock voting yes. No members spoke during the open forum portion of the meeting.
The meeting record lists Superintendent Blake Nichols and school leaders Frances Enriquez and Tanner Bales among personnel present. The board adjourned at 7:33 p.m. after hearing principal and superintendent reports and a summary of intruder detection audit findings dated Sept. 23, 2025.
