The Nixon‑Smiley CISD Board approved the superintendent's reports and items on the consent agenda by unanimous vote of trustees present (MOTION: L. Warzecha; second B. Box). Consent items included financial reports, accounts payable review, approval of prior minutes and cafeteria and enrollment reports.
The cafeteria report noted 22 operating days in October, 18,287 lunches served and 20,161 breakfasts for a combined reimbursement claim of $143,679.65 filed with the Texas Education Agency. The Board also recorded that, through October 2025, 1.44% of the 2025 adjusted levy had been collected and that enrollment stood at 995 students compared with 1,017 in October 2024.
