Board nominates Bud Box to Gonzales CAD and approves Rosemary Burkett for Karnes CAD

At the Sept. 15 meeting the Nixon‑Smiley CISD Board handled nominations to county appraisal district boards. Trustee Mark Mendez moved and Trustee Chris Villasana seconded the nomination of Trustee Bud Box to serve on the Gonzales Central Appraisal District board; trustees Richard Lott, Aly Tschoepe, Chris Villasana, Lester Warzecha and Mark Mendez voted aye and Box abstained on his own nomination.
Separately, Trustee Bud Box moved and Mark Mendez seconded the nomination of Rosemary Burkett to serve on the Karnes County Appraisal District board. The minutes record that Trustees Lott, Box, Tschoepe, Villasana, Warzecha and Mendez voted aye on that nomination. The minutes say there were no nominations for Guadalupe County.
