Superintendent Robyn Gibson presented an informational comparison of the district's 2020 MOU with Tarleton State University and the proposed 2025 MOU. The primary change noted was a revision to automatic admission eligibility from the top 25% of graduates previously to the top 50% in the proposed MOU; no board action was required at this meeting.
Gibson also presented the district's preliminary 2023–2024 FIRST rating of 92 (A) and said staff are working with TEA and ESC-11 to correct miscoded CTE and CCMR data at the high school that should raise the campus and overall district ratings once corrected. A drone video showing high‑school construction foundations was also shown during the facilities report.
