The board approved a district standardized form required by House Bill 367 to document excused absences for serious or life‑threatening illnesses. Superintendent staff explained HB 367 requires districts to use a district‑specific form to verify such absences; the approved form will be kept at the administration office.
The board also revised the 2025–26 school calendar to add two staff development days to serve as parent‑conference days (Sept. 22, 2025 and May 8, 2026). Trent Murphy moved to approve the form and the calendar revision; Russell Read seconded and both motions carried 6–0. Administration said the added minutes are banked under an existing professional development waiver.
