Pampa ISD outlines Harvester Hybrid program with Clarendon College partnership

Clay Jones, Principal of Pampa High School, and Lacie Jones, Principal of Austin Elementary, presented the Harvester Hybrid concept. For high school students the program will accept eligible juniors and seniors — including dual-credit students — and will expand CTE options through a partnership with Clarendon College. Staff said Industrial Mechanics will be available as a pathway and that every PHS student will have a caseworker to oversee their work.
Lacie Jones described a proposed K–1 hybrid model as a recruitment and retention tool: qualifying K–1 students would attend 7:45–11:45 for core instruction with parent progress checks and limited PLC staff monitoring. Board members asked about admissions for homeschool or private-school students and staff capacity; presenters said testing systems are in place and staff (including Carrie Williams and PLC staff) would support the program on a limited basis while final interest levels are assessed.
No formal policy or enrollment timeline was approved at the meeting; the presentation was informational and intended to guide planning and parent information sessions.
