District report: Panhandle ISD enrollment falls to 577, trustees review finance reports

Blair Brown delivered the district report at the Nov. 19 meeting, reporting enrollment figures and administrative materials. "As of November 14, there were 577 total students enrolled in Panhandle’s school system. This represents forty‑nine less students than on the 2024-2025 snapshot day," the record states. The report broke enrollment down to 264 elementary, 132 junior high and 181 high school students.
Trustees reviewed monthly financial reports, board reports, check payments, the bond report and the activity fund manual during the district report. Board members also identified future meeting dates: the next regular meetings are scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 17 and Monday, Jan. 19, both at 6:00 p.m.
