The Paducah ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously at its April 23 regular meeting to approve routine consent items, ratify a curriculum certification and hire an external auditor.
Trustee Terence Moore moved to accept the consent agenda, which included minutes, credit card reports and district reports; Dale Whitaker seconded and the motion passed 5–0. The board next ratified the Certification of Provision of Instructional Material Survey for 2026–2027 on a 5–0 vote after a motion by Jody Piper and a second by LeRoy Rodriguez.
On the same consent slate the board approved Eide Bailly LLP (CPAs & Business Advisors) to audit Paducah ISD’s financial statements for the 2025–2026 fiscal year. LeRoy Rodriguez moved the auditor appointment, Dale Whitaker seconded, and the motion carried 5–0.
All three votes were recorded as unanimous; no member dissent or abstention appears in the minutes. The board set its next regular meeting for May 18 at 6:00 p.m.
