Orange Grove trustees recognize UIL medalists and state marching band

The Orange Grove Board of Trustees recognized student and staff achievements during its Dec. 15 meeting. Elementary Principal Sarah Boyle acknowledged UIL medalists from the UIL meet held Dec. 6, and Band Director Craig Ewing recognized the state marching band, including drum majors, color guard captains and 27 Region band members.
The recognitions were presented as informational items and did not require board action. Superintendent Eddie Hesseltine and other administrators attended the presentation; the board did not take formal votes on the recognitions.
