The district's communications director (Mrs. Chapman) told the board the district will transition from Skyward SMS 2.0 to Skyward Cumulative on Monday, Aug. 10, offering a modern interface and improved family features. "Cumulative will provide families with a more modern interface and improved functionality," she said, and the district has created a communications plan including a dedicated webpage and step‑by‑step instructions.
Chapman confirmed resources and videos will be provided in both English and Spanish and that existing student information will carry over; however, returning families must still complete the annual student information update. The district will follow the launch with a call‑out message from Superintendent Trickett and additional back‑to‑school reminders.
