Board declares Longview parcels surplus and authorizes superintendent to pursue sale

Drew Seidel moved that authorization; Frank Richards seconded and the motion passed 6–0. Finally, the board approved the form of the charter-school notice of sale required to notify any charter schools located within the district boundaries. Mike Smith moved approval of the notice form; Adam Graves seconded; the motion passed 6–0.
Board minutes indicate staff will follow statutory notice procedures and administrative steps required under Chapter 272 as the district proceeds with disposition of the properties.
