The Petersburg Independent School District Board of Trustees approved its consent agenda at a regular meeting on Dec. 17, 2025. Vice‑President Travis Vaughn moved to approve the consent agenda items — minutes from the Nov. 19, 2025 regular meeting, payments of bills for November 2025 and a budget update — and board member Lissa Orozco seconded the motion. The motion passed with five votes in favor; board member Linda Padron abstained and John B Gicante III was absent.
The board also reviewed and accepted the year‑to‑date and monthly tax collections report as part of the consent agenda. Meeting opening items included attendance recorded by Secretary Julie Watson and an opening prayer led by Vice‑President Travis Vaughn. The meeting was adjourned after the consent vote. Minutes were signed by Collin Kattner, President, and Julie Watson, Secretary.
