Council approves sale of 113 East Maple to Enrique Sanchez for $9,800

At a public hearing the council considered the proposed sale of 113 East Maple. Planning and zoning coordinator Jake Rush told the council that the city opened bids through May 7, 2026, and received a single offer. "We received 1 bid. Enrique Sanchez submitted the best bid in the amount of $9,800 and staff would recommend accepting the bid," Rush said.
No members of the public spoke against the sale. Council moved to close the public hearing, and on a roll call the council adopted Resolution 1622026 to approve the sale and rescind Resolution 1552026. The sale was approved by recorded votes from the council during the meeting.
