Superintendent Robyn Gibson told trustees that Paradise ISD received E-Rate approval to cover 60% of needed internet upgrades, and that the district will be responsible for the remaining 40%, estimated at about $60,000.
The board received the Tax Turnover Report from Linebarger Attorneys with no discussion. The E-Rate action was presented as an informational item during the Oct. 20 meeting; no vote on the upgrades was recorded that evening.
