Paradise ISD highlights Health Science CTE partnership with Bridgeport nursing home

Paradise ISD CTE Director Robin Meadows told the Board of Trustees about the district’s Health Science Career program at Paradise High School and an active partnership with a Bridgeport nursing home that transports students four days a week to gain clinical hours.
Meadows named current students in the program (Braylea Dunlap, Maddox Erwin, Cooper Jones, Ayla Morrison, Leana Pacheco, Kyla Perez, Brittan Richey and Piper Wylie) and said the program is preparing them to pursue a Clinical Medical Assistant certification. The district reported plans to expand the program to include phlebotomy training in the future. The item appeared during recognitions and a presentation portion of the Oct. 20, 2025 meeting.
