The Paradise Independent School District Board of Trustees adopted a resolution setting the 2025–2026 property tax rate at a total of $1.0892 per $100 valuation.
Superintendent Robyn Gibson presented the proposed resolution and told trustees the rate is broken down as $0.6692 for Maintenance and Operations (M&O) and $0.42 for Interest and Sinking (I&S). Trustee Landon Smith moved to approve the resolution and Renea Remmele seconded; the motion carried 6-0.
The minutes record the board's formal adoption of the rate but do not include supporting tax-rate calculations, rollback analyses, or the sample tax bills; those documents would normally be available in the district's public tax-rate packet or posted on the district website.
