After SB 8 takes effect, Pampa ISD reviews TASB guidance; board approves Policy Update 126 unanimously

District administration reviewed the guidance and consulted athletic staff and nearby districts; the board had no recommended changes and no board action was required on the regulation because it is administrative guidance.
On a separate but related governance item, Cade Taylor moved to approve TASB Policy Update 126 and David Godino seconded; the motion carried unanimously with all seven trustees voting in favor. The board recorded no changes to the district’s approach as a result of the discussion.
