Hillsboro board approves $500,000 Health Life Safety amendment for Beckemeyer roof

The Hillsboro Community Unit School District #3 Board of Education voted Jan. 13 to approve a Health Life Safety amendment allocating $500,000 for phase one of the roof project at Beckemeyer. Superintendent McBrain presented the recommendation and there were no questions before the motion was moved and approved.
Nathan Kirby moved to approve the amendment and Kassie Greenwood seconded; a roll call vote recorded seven yes votes (Matt Lentz, Brian Patton, Bill Christian, Blake Furness, Kassie Greenwood, Mike Cerutti and Nathan Kirby). The board did not provide additional scheduling or contractor details during the meeting.
