Pampa ISD trustees nominate two members to Gray County Appraisal District board

Superintendent Hugh Piatt told the board that the Gray County Appraisal District Board of Directors is selected every two years and that current terms expire Dec. 31, 2025; nominations must be submitted by Oct. 1, 2025. Mr. Piatt told trustees the district’s share of votes is proportional to its percentage of the tax levy and that Jeff Haley will not continue, leaving one vacancy on the GCAD board.
On that basis, David Godino moved to nominate Cade Taylor and Richard Qualls for the 2026–2027 GCAD terms; Denise Intemann seconded and the motion carried unanimously. The board will submit its allotted votes after receiving nominations from all Gray County entities.
