Abby Hancock, Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction, presented 2025 STAAR results and highlighted campus-level improvements and "Bright Spots" by grade and subject.
Hancock reported that Pampa Junior High earned three academic distinctions and ranked in the top 1% in the state for improvement. Pampa High School earned three academic distinctions and recorded 98% College, Career, and Military Readiness. Following the accountability presentation, Hugh Piatt reported district enrollment as 3,044 students as of Aug. 22, 2025 — approximately 86 fewer students than the same time last year.
The board received both the performance data and the enrollment report; no board action was recorded on these items during the meeting.
