Troy McClendon, Director of Operations, updated trustees on facilities preparations for the upcoming school year. He said maintenance and custodial staff are finishing cleaning, repairs and preventative maintenance; that 10 rooftop units (RTUs) will be installed at Pampa High School Commons, McNeely and classrooms immediately after GMP approval; that Austin Elementary’s parking lot is complete and appears to be draining well; and that the administration building’s HVAC system continues to be researched for solutions.
The update outlined scheduled work tied to approved contracts and recommended project sequencing; no separate board action was recorded beyond the previously approved GMP amendment that enables RTU installation.
