The Paducah ISD Board of Trustees convened a special meeting May 27, moved into closed session for candidate review, and later reconvened and completed a personnel action before adjourning.
Trustee Terence Moore moved, seconded by Trustee Dale Whitaker, “to adjourn the open session and move to closed session.” The motion passed 6-0 at 6:31 p.m.; the meeting reconvened at 6:45 p.m.
After the closed session, trustees approved an offer to Billy Arbogast for a two-year probationary Administrator contract as a Certified Principal; that motion passed 6-0. With no other business, Trustee Terence Moore moved to adjourn, seconded by Trustee Dale Whitaker, and the meeting adjourned at 6:55 p.m.
Attendance at the special session included President Michael LeCroy and Trustees Jody Piper, Terence Moore, Laura Bratton, Dale Whitaker and LeRoy Rodriguez; Trustee Jeff Richardson was absent. Superintendent Gary Waitman attended and led the invocation earlier in the meeting.
